I am passionate about providing expert physiotherapy treatment for infants and children. Our goal is to provide therapy services for children of all ages using a family-centered, child-focused approach. We combine excellent care with a fun and creative atmosphere allowing the children to feel comfortable and most importantly, realize success.

We treat children with a range of injuries and conditions, ranging from basic injuries (sprains, strains and bruises) and postural pain, through to growth disorders and traumatic fracture rehabilitation.

In many cases, the causes are part and parcel of a healthy active childhood – the usual catalogue of sports and recreational injuries, falls, sprains, crashes and bashes.

The result of the inactivity and sedentary behaviour that is increasingly common in children. These include postural and musculoskeletal problems, hunching, shortened muscles, predisposition to injury, along with weakness and fatigue.

Maria Estella Varela, LPT graduated from University of Rosario in 1986. She began her private practice in Colombia for four years exclusively in pediatrics. In 1990 she continued her practice in the United States of America in different areas, which included primarily neurology, cerebral palsy, spinal injuries, amputations, orthopedics, and pediatrics. In the last ten years, she has focused on pediatrics, hospital practice, in-home services, and school systems.
